In the poem, the poet Ruskin Bond appreciates his Grandmother's extraordinary behavior. All this can be explained by reading the poem as the following instances occurred. The grandma was old yet very courageous,  young and young-hearted and lively.

Even at this age, she could climb trees very easily. There wasn't a tree she had left unclimbed. The last tree she climbed was when she was 62 years. She learned how to climb trees so easily from his kind and lovely brother when she was at the age of 6.

People around her always kept telling her not to climb trees as she was growing older and it would hurt her a lot if any mishappening would occur. she was always advised to take a rest and not to involve herself in such physical activity. But she always refused and told them that she would make it a better way.

She was a very lively grandma heart woman and was an example to all the old age people that if they want they can turn all stones. She loved her living upon the tree.
