Hey friend,
Here's your answer,
The Brook is a symbol of life because it suggests many similarities between the journey of the brook and that of man.
The Brook is always on the move. It passes through many hurdles. It becomes a symbol of life.
There are many similarities between the life and the brook.
In youth, man is full of strength, vigour and zeal. In it's 'youth' , the brook, too, reveals it's strength and vigour. It flows quickly. It 'sallies' , 'bickers' and 'chatters'.
Like the journey of the Brook, the journey of life is not easy. It is full of difficulties, surprises and unexpected dangers.
Human beings support and help each other. Similarly, the Brook gives support to plant and animal life. It sustains the life of many fish and flowers.
In old age, human beings become wise, peaceful and slow. Towards the end, the brook, too, becomes peaceful and loses its earlier rashness. It moves slowly by lawns and grassy plots.
There is a remarkable difference between the journey of the Brook which is constant and eternal and the journey of human life which is transitory.
Death marks a stop on human life............
Hope this helps!!!!!
