    Sitting on the porch way, the poet observes a farmer who was sowing seeds. The old man, in rags was sowing the seeds with patience. It had become night and the working hours were over by then. Every throw of the seeds gives us an idea about his determination and hard work.

   Over these years, he might have faced many bad harvests. But that had not made him leave his passion. The poet feels respect for the farmer for his patience and describes him as a hard worker and dominant.
