Now, according to the question

PA = PB

theredore by distance formula

root of (x+ 1)^2 = root of ( x - 5) ^2

squaring both side we get

x ^2 + 2x + 1 = x^2 - 10x + 25

2x + 10x = 25 - 1

12x = 24

so x = 2

so the coordinates of P are (2,0)
