Let P ( 0, 8/3 ) ,Q (1 , 3) and R ( 82 , 30 )

Slope of QP

 \tan( \alpha )  =  \frac{ \frac{8}{3}  - 3}{0 - 1}  =  \frac{1}{3}

Again slope of QR

 \tan( \beta )  =  \frac{30 - 3}{82 - 1}  =  \frac{27}{81}  =  \frac{1}{3}

So both lines are parallel
