The equation in slope intercept form is

y - y1 =  \frac{(y2 - y1)}{(x2 - x1)}(x - x1)

here,

x1 = 1

x2 = 5

y1 =1

y2 =5

by using above formula we get ,

=} y - 1 = (5-1)/(5-1) × (x-1)

=} y -1 = x -1

=} y -1 = x -1=} x - y = 0
