The points A (4, -5), B (1, 1) and C (-2, y) are collinear with B lying between A and C. Find the value of y

Step-by-step explanation:

If all the points are collinear then it will satisfy the condition,

AB+BC=AC

now using distance formula you can take out the value of Y

AB= √9+36=√45

BC= √9+(y-1)^2.

AC= √36+(y+5)^2

Now you can calculate..I think
