- firstly put the value of x and y with point,A(a,b) in equation y=8x+3 and then, put the value of x and y with point B(b,0) in equation y=8x+3 made two equation like,
- y=8x+3 put A(a,b)
- b=8a+3-----------(1)
- and then put second value in the same equation y= 8x+3 B(b,0)
- 0=8b+3----------(2)
- now,solve the equation (2)
- 0=8b+3,b= -3/8
- now put the value of b in equation (1)
- b=8a+3
- -3/8=8a+3
- a=-27/64,b=-3/8
- now the second question,
- put the value of x (2)and y (0) in the given equation y= 8x+3
- 0=8(2)+3
