AC = AB+BC

$= > 4x - 7 = x + 5 + 2x + 3$

$4x - 7 = 3x + 8$

$4x - 3x = 8 + 7$

$x = 15$

$BC = 2x + 3$

$= 2 \times 15 + 3$

$BC = 33$
