If a point (a,b) lies on a line lx+my+n=0

then la+mb+n=0

so (m,m) lies on the line then it satisfies the equation of the line

so substitute m in place of x and substitute m in place of y

m-m=0

Answer:

x-y+0

Step-by-step explanation:

  • In geometry, a point is a place. It is completely empty, meaning it has no width, length, or depth. A dot indicates a point. A line is described as a collection of points that stretches in both directions indefinitely. It has a single length dimension.
  • First order equations include linear equations. In the coordinate system, the linear equations are defined for lines. A linear equation in one variable is one in which there is a homogeneous variable of degree 1 (i.e., only one variable). Multiple variables may be present in a linear equation.
  • lx+my+n=0 if a point (a,b) is on a line. so that la+mb+n=0
  • Therefore, if (m,m) is on the line, the line's equation is satisfied.
  • Therefore, change x to m and y to m and the result is m-m=0.

x-y+0
