The angle between incident ray and reflected ray is 2i and the angle between reflected and refracted ray is 90.
So the angle is
90-57.5=32.5
Then the required angle is 90-32.5 is 57.5
This is right.

Answer:

Refraction and polarization are related through Brewstar's Angle.

Brewster's angle is an angle of incidence at which light with a particular polarization is perfectly transmitted through a transparent dielectric surface, with no reflection.

Now we know

from the formula

r=90-i

where i= incident angle

r= refraction

So according to the problem we get

r=90-57

=> r=33 degree
