1)lack of internal democracy within parties- there is a tendency in political parties towards concentration of power in one or a few letters at the top part is do not keep the membership registers do not hold organisational meetings and conduct internal elections regularly .
2)dynastic succession -it is a one of the major challenge faced by political parties in India very few ordinary workers in India get a chance to rise to the top of the party and usually in India the top positions are always controlled by the members of one family and this is unfair to many of the members as the other members do not get a chance to go the top position .
3)growing role of money and muscle power is also a challenge faced by political parties.for winning elections political parties use shortcuts and all they tend to nominate candidates who have money or can raise money also the rich people and the companies have influence on the policy decisions of the parties. in some cases party supports criminals also.
4)also political parties do not offer a meaningful choice to the voters .
