We will use the compounding formula:
Z = A (1 + r/100)^t
where Z is the population at the end of the duration
A is the starting population
r is the rate of increase
t is the time period in years

Please note 4.7% = 0.047

Population at the end of the year 2015 = (6809000)()

Solving this we get the population of Hyderabad at the end of year 2015 as 8182199
