dynel. Dynel is made from a copolymer of acrylonitrile and vinyl chloride. It has the formula CH2=CHCl. It shares many of its properties with both polyacrylonitrile.
Polyacrylonitrile has superb tensile strength along with high abrasion resistance. Dynel also resembles PVC to a large extent as it is flame resistant. It is a type of acrylic resin and that is why, it is well suited for making human hair wigs.
