Step-by-step explanation:

given

polynomial 2x³+17x+k when divided by (x-2)

so value of x

= x-2

x = 2

put x =2 in above polynomial

= 2x³+17x+k

= 2(2)³+17(2)+k

= 16+34+k

= 50+k

double of this remainder = 2(50+k) = 100+2k

now

kx+3x³+6 when divided by (x-2)

x-2=0

x =2

put x =2 in above polynomial

kx+3x³+6 = 100+2k

2k+3(2)³+6 = 100+2k

2k+24+6 = 100+2k

2k-2k = 100-30
