Answer:

Step-by-step explanation;

P(x)= x⁴-2x³-ax+3a-7

x+1=0

x=-1

P(-1)= -1²-2(-1³)-a(-1)+3(a)-7

19=1+2+3+a+3a-7

19=6-7+4a

4a=20

a=5

So, P(x)=x⁴-2x³+3x²-5x+3(5)-7

=x⁴-2x³+3x²-5x+8

x+2=0

x=-2

P(-2)=-2⁴-2(-2³)+3(-2²)-5(-2)+8

=16+16+12+10+8

=62

:• the remainder is 62
