The polynomial x²-5x+6 has 2 zeroes because the highest power of the variable is 2

x²-5x+6

= x²-2x-3x+6

= x(x-2) -3(x-2)

= (x-3)(x-2)

Hence the zeroes are 3 and 2

Answer:

 {x}^{2} - 5x + 6 = 0 \\ factorize \: \\ x {}^{2} - 3x - 2x + 6 = 0 \\ = x(x - 3) - 2(x - 3) = 0 \\ = (x - 3)(x - 2) = 0 \\ = x = 3 \: \: and \: \: 2 \: \\ hence \: polynomial \: x {}^{2} - 5x + 6 \: has \: two \: zeroes \: 3 \: \: and \: 2 \\ and \: this \: is \: a \: second \: order \: polynomial .
