The polynomials (5y2 + 4) cm, (3y2 – 6x) cm, and (7x + 3) cm represent the three sides of a triangle. What is the perimeter of the triangle?

So

Perimeter =

(5y {}^{2}  + 4) + (3y {}^{2}  - 6x) + (7x + 3) \\  = 5y { }^{2}  + 4 + 3y {}^{2}  - 6x + 7x + 3 \\  = 5y {}^{2} + 3y {}^{2}   - 6x + 7x + 3 + 4 \\  = (8y {}^{2}  + x + 7) \:  \: cm
