Solution:-

given by:-
The polynomials ax^3-3x^2+4 and 2x^3-5x+a when divided by (x–2) leave the remainders p and q respectively.

here , x = 2

》ax^3-3x^2+4

》8a -12+4 = p

》8a-8 =p

2x^3-5x+a

》2×8-10+a = q

》a+6 = q

accourding to question:-

》p – 2q = 4

》8a-8 - 2(a+6) = 4

》8a -8-2a-12 =4

》6a = 4+20

》a = 24/6

》(a = 4) ans

☆i hope its help☆
