Given that it leaves the same reminder , so

= > p( - 2 ) = g( - 2 )

= > a( - 2 )³ + 3( - 2 )² - 13 = 2( - 2 )³ - 15( - 2 ) + a

= > - 8a + 12 - 13 = - 16 + 30 + a

= > - 8a - 1 = 14 + a

= > - 14 - 1 = 8a + a

= > - 15 = 9a

= > - 15 / 9 = a

= > - 5 / 3 = a

Therefore, value of x is -5 /3
