Poem Sympathy by Charles Mackay extols the virtue of sympathy
by narrating his own experience. Once he lay in sorrow suffering a great deal.
A proud man came to him and offered him some financial help; but he did not say
him any warm word. The poet paid him back when he got well with thanks and
blessings for his charity.

Because he knows that the help is best than gold because a man gives him a rupees but not give a kindly word but an other poor man give him a sympathy and bound his head so he like the help
