We need to calculate the population of Hyderabad after 4 years with the given rate of increase given as 4.7%.

We will use the compounding formula:

Z = A (1 + r/100)^t

where Z is the population at the end of the duration

A is the starting population

r is the rate of increase

t is the time period in years

Please note 4.7% = 0.047

Population at the end of the year 2015 = (6809000)()

Solving this we get the population of Hyderabad at the end of year 2015 as 8182199

sgc808107: Population of Hyderabad in 2011 = 6809000
Increase rate = 4.7 % per annum
Time difference = 4 years
Population increase in 1 year =
4.7 /100 × 6809000
= 320023.
Therefore population increase in 4 years =
320023 × 4 = 1280092.

Therefore the population at the end of 2015
= 6809000 + 1280092
= 8089092 .
