Given : the population of a certain country can be approximated by the function P(x) = 20,000,000 e 0.0251x where x is the number of years

To Find : approximate number of the population after 30 years

Solution:

P(x) = 20,000,000 e 0.0251x

=> P(x) = 20,000,000 e^0.0251x

Substitute x  = 30

0.0251x  = 0.0251(30) = 0.753

=> P(30) = 20,000,000 e^0.753

e^0.753 = 2.12336055

=> P(30) =    20,000,000 ( 2.12336055)

=> P(30) =  4,24,67,211

approximate number of the population after 30 years =   4,24,67,211
