The population of a city first increases by 25% in one year and immediately in the next year it decreases by 20%. what was the change eventually in the population?

Let the original population be  100.

New final population  = 125 %  of (80 % of 100)

⇒  (125/100 * 80/100 * 100) population

⇒ population= 100.

thete is no change eventually in the population because original population and final population are same ANS
