The population of a city was 20,000 in the year 1997 . It increased at the rate of 5% p.a. Find the population at the end of the year 2000. ​

R = 5%

T = 3 years

Amount =

20000(1 +  \frac{5}{100})^{3}

20000( \frac{105}{100})^{3}

= 23,52.5
