The population of a district is 2,50,000 and its area is 1250 square km.
What would be the density of population ?

Density of population: the density of population is the number of persons living per unit of an area. It is usually expressed as number of people per square kilometre.


Density of population= number of people in a defined area unit/ total area in square kilometre of that particular area.



Density of population= 2,50,000/ 1250= 200



Density of population=200 persons per km²
