Solutions :-

Given :
The population of a hill station is 18900
It decreases at the rate of 5% per annum.

Find its population after one year. :-

Population after one year = Total population - 5% of Total Population
= 18900 - 5% of 18900
= 18900 - 945
= 17955

Hence,
Population of a hill station after one year = 17955

Population of  hill station =  18900

Hence

Decreases at rate of 5% per annum.

Population after One year

Full population - 5% of Total Population

\bf\huge 18900 - \frac{18900}{100} \times 5

= 18900 - 945

= 17955

Therefore

Population of Hill station after one year is 17955
