Solution :
p = 54000
r = 5
in 2001
A = 54000(1 + 5/100) pow 2
A = 54000(105/100) pow 2
for 2001 reciprocal
A = 54000(100/105) pow 2
A = 48979.59
approx 48980
so population in 2001 is 48980
in 2005
A = 54000(1 + 5/100) pow 2
A = 54000( 1.05) pow 2
A = 54000(1.1025)
A = 59535
so population in 2005 is 59535
Hope that helps !!!!
