Population in 2006 i.e. after 3 yrs
=54000+[(54000×3×5) ÷100] =54000+[540×15]
=54000+8100
=62100
Population three yrs back
=54000-[(54000×3×5)] =54000-8100
=45900
Population in 2000=45900
Population in 2006=62100
