The population of a town 2 years ago was 62500.Due to migration to cities , it decreses every year at the rate of 4 percent per annum. find its present population

Amount = P(1 - R/100)^n
➡ 62500 (1 - 4/100)^2
➡ 62500 (1 - 1/25)^2
➡ 62500 (24/25)^2
➡ 62500 * 576/625
➡ 100 * 576
➡ 57600

So the present population is 57600
