The percentage increase would be 16.67%

Given:-

  • The population in 2005 = 1800000
  • While, the population in 2006 = 2100000

Thus the percentage increase in population

 = \frac{population \: in \: 2006 - population \: in \: 2005}{population \: in \: 2005} \times 100

 = \frac{2100000 - 1800000}{1800000} \times 100

 = \frac{300000}{1800000} \times 100

 = \frac{1}{6} \times 100

 = 16.67

HOPE IT HELPS YOU DEAR FRIEND!✌☺
