the population of a town increases by 10 percent every year At present the population of the town is 3,63,000 what was the population of the town two years back

Amount=P×[1+r/100]^t
363000 = P × ( 1+10/100)^2
363000 = P × ( 1+1/10)^2
363000 = P × (10+1\10)^2[ l.c.m of denominators]
363000 = P×(11/10)^2
363000=P×(11/10×11/10)
363000=P×121/100
P=363000÷121/100
P= 363000×100/121
P=3000×100
P=300000
Therefore population before 2 years = 300000
