present population = 6600000
rate of increase in population = 11%
= (11/100) × 6600000
= 11 × 66000
= 726000 people per annum

i.e, the population is increased by 726000 people per year

now increase in population after 3 years = 726000 × 3 = 2178000 people

total population after 3 years = present population + increase in population after 3 years
= 6600000 + 2178000 people
= 8778000 people

therefore the total population after 3 years is 8778000 people
