Solution

\\

No. of males = 60,000

\\

No. of females

= Total population - No. of males

= 1,20,000

\\

Ratio ,

= \displaystyle\frac {No.\:of \: females}{Total\:population}

= \displaystyle\frac{1,20,000}{1,80,000}

= \displaystyle\frac {2}{3}

=\displaystyle{\blue{\tt{2:3}}}

{\blue {\tt {Thus,  \:the  \:ratio \: of  \:women\: in  \:the  \:population  \:=  \:2:3}}}
