Concept:-

Here, We find the number of population increase in one year then we add that number to the real population to get the increase population.

Given:-

  • Current population is 2,666,200.
  • Growth rate is 1.5%.

To Find:-

  • Population increased in one year ?

Solution:-

Here, At first we find increase in population in numbers.

Let the population increase in one year be x.

\sf{So,\ 2,66,200 + 26,66,200 \times 1.5\% = x}

\sf{\Longrightarrow 26,66,200 + 26,66,200 \times \dfrac{15}{1000} = x}

Solving this we get,

\sf{\Longrightarrow 26,66,200 + 39,993 = x}

\sf{\Longrightarrow 27,06,193 = x}

Hence, population of the town after one year will be 2,706,193.
