Given : P=2,00,000

Population after first year

=2,00,000(1+ 100/10 )¹

=2,00,000( 100/110)=2,20,000

Principal for the second year =2,20,000

Population at the end of second year

=2,20,000[1+ 100/15]¹

=2,20,000× 100/115

=2,53,000

The event: Pulling of the chariots

The Rath Yatra, or the Chariot festival, is a 10-12-day annual celebration during which Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra are taken in chariots to stay in the Gundicha Temple, 3 km away from the Jagannath temple, for nine days.
