annual birth rate=4%

annual death rate=2%

population of the town after two years=65,000

formula=62,500×8÷100=5,000

=62,500×4÷100=2,500

5,000(birth rate of two years)-2,500(death rate of two years)

=2,500

62,500+2,500=65,000
