Given :

The population of town = 150800

In one year , population increased by 4292

The number of men = m = 62567

The number of women = w = 61296

To Find :

The number of children

Solution :

Let the number of children = c

∵ The population of town = 150800

And , In one year , population increased by 4292

So, New population of town = 150800 + 4292

= 155092

Again

Total population of town = number of men + number of women + number of children

i.e m + w + c = 155092

Or, 62567 + 61296 + c = 155092

Or, 123863 + c = 155092

Or, c = 155092 - 123863

∴ c = 31229

Or, children = c = 31229

Answer:

31227

Step-by-step explanation:

so Population before birth is 150800 and that increased 4290 so

150800+4290= 155090

woman- 61296

men - 62567

so total population = children + women+ men

155090 = 61296 + 62567 + children

155090= 123863 + chindren

so children = 155090 - 123863

= 31227
