the population of a town was 25000 in 2003. If it increased at the rate of 5% pa, find the population at the end of the year 2008.

Answer:

5% of 25000

(5*2500)/100

=1250

Then no. of years=2008-2003=5years

No of -population=25000-1250*5=25000-6250=18750
