Annual percentage increase in 3 years =5%,4%,3%.resp.

∴ Present population =50,000(1+ 100 a 1 )(1+ 100A 2 )(1+ 100A )

=5000(1+ 1005 )(1+ 1004 )(1+ 1003 )

=5000× 100105 × 100104 × 100103

Present population =56238Rs
