Previous population is equal to 24500
change the population is equal to 25000
therefore
changed population is equal to 500
therefore percentage increase is equal to
changed population/original population *100
=500/24500*100
=100/49
=2.04%

A/q
Increase =25000-24000=500
So,
Then
Increase % in population=500*100/25000
=500/250
=2%
