Answer:

present population (p)= 5000

rate=2%

time=2 yrs.

popn. of next 2 yrs = p(1+r/100)^t

= 5000(1+2/100)²

=5000×1.0404

=5202

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

How can we solve it with out using equations

Step 1 - Calculate 2% of 5000 = 100 ( 50+50)

So, Increase after first year = 5000+100 = 5100

now, again a 2% increase ,

Step 2 :  Find the 2% of 5100 = 102 (51+51)

so Population after two year = 5100+102= 5202
