Given the population is 67000.

First year it will increase 5%.

Increase=5%of 67000

=5/100*67000

=5*670

=3350

The population now becomes 67000+3350

=70350

Next increase =4%

=4/100*70350

=2814

Now the population becomes 70350+2814

=73164

The answer is verified and correct.

Thanks.
