The population of a village is in the following ratios.

men : children = 11:3
women : children = 5:2

find the ratio men: women - give your answer in its simplest form.

(this was on the OCR maths higher maths paper June 2017,so i already know the answer i just need the explanation please)

2:5

then,

11*2:3*2:3*5

22:6:15
