It is increase by 4.7% per annum

we need to calculate population after 4 years at @4% rate of interest

we will use compound formula :

Time period (n)=2015-2011=4

Rate of interest=4.7%

Principal value(p) taken as 68,09,000

Population at 2015:

$= > P= ( 1 + \frac{r}{100} ) ^{n}$

$= 6809000(1 + \frac{4.7}{100} ) ^{4}$

$= 6809000 \times {(1.047)}^{4}$

=>6809000×1.2016741717

=81821994

∴The population of Hyderabad at the end of the 2015 was 8,18,21,994
