the population of the town was 19000 in 2006 and 22000 in 2007 .how many percentage of population increases in the year?

this sum is quite simple
the increase in population will be difference of population of two years i.e 22000-19000=3000
Increase percentage=(increase/original value)×100
3000/19000×100=15.789 percent( calculated till three decimals)
