Let population be x

and inc. % = 5 %

so, population after 1 year = x + x*5/100 = 105x/100

hence, population after two years = 105x/100 + 105x*5/100*100

                                                        = 441x/400

Putting x = 10000

population after two years = 441*10000/400 = 11025
