The population of town increasing 9% per year. If the population of this town in 2004 was 2000000 then find the population in 2006

The increasing percentage is 9%per year

The year was 2004 and now is 2006

So. 2004-2006=2 years

Eaxh year=9%

In two years=9×2=18%

18/100×2000000 =360000

Population in 2006=360000+2000000

=2360000
