male population is x
female population is 9600-x

108/100*x+105/100*(9600-x) = 10272
108x/100 +10080 - 105x/100=10272
3x/100=192
x=6400
female 3200

Answer: 6400

Step-by-step explanation:

Current population= 10272

Population 1 year ago= 9600

Change in population = (10272-9600)= 672

Change in female = +5%

Change in male = +8%

% change in population = 672*100/9600 = 7%

8%. 5%

7%

2 : 1

No of male = 2/3*9600. = 64000
