Answer:

The portion of the earth and its environment which can support life is known as Biosphere.

Explanation:

  • Biosphere is a little space compared to the other layers of the earth in which living things can survive.
  • The earth has many layers in its atmosphere.
  • Troposphere, stratosphere,mesosphere,thermosphere and exosphere.
  • Troposphere is above the sea level. It is 10 Km from the ground level.
  • At the end of troposphere, the stratosphere starts upto 50 Km.
  • The infamous ozone layer is found within this stratosphere.
  • At the end of stratosphere, the mesosphere is found.
  • It is upto 85 Km upwards.
  • Most meteors burn up in the mesosphere.
  • The layer of very rare air above the mesosphere is called the thermosphere.
  • The exosphere is constantly though very gradually "leaking" out of Earth's atmosphere into outer space. There is no clear-cut upper boundary where the exosphere finally fades away into space.
